These terms govern your use of the Plant Identification App website and free plant-identification tool. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

We provide an AI-powered tool that estimates the identity of a plant from a photo and returns general information such as care guidance, native range, and toxicity notes. Identification is an automated estimate and may be incorrect.

Not professional or veterinary advice

Care, edibility, and toxicity information is provided for general educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional botanical, medical, or veterinary advice. Never rely on this tool alone to decide whether a plant is safe to eat, touch, or keep around pets or children. If a person or animal may have ingested a toxic plant, contact a doctor, veterinarian, or poison-control service immediately.

Acceptable use

• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
• Do not attempt to abuse, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Do not use the service in a way that violates any applicable law.

Accuracy and no warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that identifications, care details, or toxicity information are accurate, complete, or current.

Intellectual property

The Plant Identification App name, site design, and original content are our property or used with permission. You retain rights to the photos you upload.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service or its information, including any harm to people, pets, or plants.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
