Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Photos you upload: the image you submit is sent to our AI provider to generate an identification.
• Identification results: we may store the returned plant data to improve and monitor the service.
• Basic technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) used for security and rate-limiting.
• We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name or personal details to use the tool.

How we use your photos

When you submit a photo, it is processed by a third-party AI vision provider solely to identify the plant and return care and toxicity information. We do not use your photos to identify you, and we do not sell them.

Third-party services

Plant identification is powered by a third-party large-language-model provider. Your uploaded image is transmitted to that provider to generate the result, subject to their own processing terms. We also use standard hosting infrastructure to serve the site.

Cookies and analytics

We use only the cookies necessary to operate the site and may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not use invasive cross-site advertising trackers.

Data retention

Server logs are retained only as long as needed for security and abuse prevention. Stored identification data is kept in aggregate to improve the service and is not linked to your identity.

Children

This site is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
